REVIEW: Enigma Skintroduction Powder Foundation (LN07 Beige)

Let’s proceed with the review shall we? As I mentioned earlier I am a MAC Studiofix girlie, but since they discontinued their talc formulation I was in search for a replacement, and I think this is it.

Enigma Beauty Powder Foundation Review

It comes in a red refillable compact with a velour puff. It’s very hygeinic because the puff is still separated from the powder when closed; and quite smart because once finished you can easily replace the powder with a new one by snapping it.

Enigma Beauty Powder Foundation Review

This is a swatch comparison. The Mac Studiofix NC25 is a lot warmer and yellower compared to Enigma’s. In terms of texture, Enigma’s is smoother, finer, and tightly packed. I needed to rub my fingers harder on the compact to get as much powder versus the Studiofix.

Enigma Beauty Powder Foundation Review

I was expecting a sponge, but a velour puff works just as well if not better! It’s very silky and velvetty in texture and can pickup the perfect amount of product to smooth over your face to build coverage.

This is how the powder looks like once applied. Same amount of layers on each side, two. If you take a closer look, Enigma really does a great job in blurring pores and evening out my complexion. It makes my skin looks better, flawless even!

What I like most about Enigma is, it looks like second skin. It doesnt look like you have makeup on. It is not cakey. It is not powdery.

Regarding staying power, this lasts a good 6 hours on me with minimal retouch on the nose area since I’m prone to rubbing that part.

I am AMAZED considering how cheap this is, and it sort of made me believe in local makeup again. I finally found my new HG powder foundie!!!
