Tamagotchi Paradise Review: Worth It in 2025?
I didn’t realize Tamagotchis have come this far! The last one I ever touched was Gen 1, back when the gameplay was super simple. Now there’s a brand-new release—Tamagotchi Paradise—and it’s quickly becoming the thing, especially after Lisa was spotted playing with hers.

Growing up, I never had one of my own. We weren’t exactly well-off, so I could only watch my classmates show off their Tamagotchis. Fast forward to today, and my inner child needed some healing—so yes, I finally got myself a Paradise. And wow, it’s been such a fun ride.
First Impressions
After running Paradise for a couple of weeks, I can confidently say there’s a lot you can do with it. The gameplay feels full, but at the same time, it doesn’t demand too much of your attention—which is perfect for me.

Pros
-
Low maintenance – No pressure if you’re busy or can’t check it all the time.
-
Cute characters – Seriously, they’re adorable 🥺. Watching them play with toys in the field makes me smile.
-
Easy to earn Gotchi points – Progress feels rewarding without being grindy.
-
Cozy companion – It’s nice having it with me throughout the day.

Cons
-
Rotating knob – Not very intuitive; I’m not a fan.
-
Feels more like a goldfish than a pet – You know what I mean—it doesn’t really feel like caring for a cat or dog.
-
Low challenge factor – It’s mostly about feeding the right food to evolve into the Tama you want. That said, this actually makes it a perfect pick for kids.
Final Thoughts
Overall, Tamagotchi Paradise is a charming update to a nostalgic favorite. It’s cozy, easy, and fun—exactly what my inner child needed.
⚠️ Just a heads-up: watch out for scalpers! Grab one while it’s still at SRP, because discontinued versions get insanely overpriced.
