As a lady in her mid-30’s (yes), our collagen production is getting slower, and slower every year. Try to observe younger women.  Those in their 20’s and below. Their skin is still plump, glowing, and refined. It’s because their body still naturally produce collagen. 

Why does collagen production slow down?

The body produces collagen naturally and it is in abundance when young, but unfortunately production starts to decline at about age 25, and continues. It decreases even more in women after menopause. Collagen also decreases with other factors such as smoking, sugar and ultraviolet rays.¹

There are even studies that claim that taking collagen supplements is not effective. But I believe otherwise. As someone who’s been regularly taking them. I can attest their effectiveness in improving skin’s texture and more.

Ingredients (per 100g) – Divide by 10, rounded off to find out ingredient per serving. Would’ve appreciate this more if then indicated this and not leave us to do the math LOL

• Glutathione – 333mg (anti-oxidant)
• Hyaluronic Acid – 83mg (helps retain moisture)
• Vitamin C – 167mg (anti-oxidant)
• Pearl Coix Extract – 733mg (wrinkle remover, skin lightening)
• Additives – 2,167 (what is this? hope they indicate in the future)
• Glucosamine – 4,000mg (Reduce osteoarthritis-related pain, stiffness, and swelling in the joints.)
• Green Tea Extract – 333mg (anti-oxidant)
• Sucralose – 833mg (artificial sweetener)
• Maltilol – 7,818mg (artificial sweetener)
• CoQ10 – 200mg (anti-oxidant)

Okay, first things first. The packaging. It comes in a resealable foil pouch. Making it convenient to bring anywhere since it’s not bulky compared to bottles or jars. The bright colors of pink, blue, and orange is eye-catching too. Would be better if it had a scooper but I guess they’re going eco-friendlier (which is a good thing)

How does it taste? Amazingly nothing. One of my pet peeves in most collagen supplements is how fishy they taste/smell. Total turn-off. Pure Beauty Collagen can be mixed with only water and can be drank straight up. It has a wonderful light milky smell and barely noticeable taste. You can drink it on it’s own!

It’s easy to mix too. Just using a spoon, a few stirs and there’s no annoying chalky chunks. I take it with my whey most of the time to save time

Is it effective? Yes. The photos below, and the progress video above will prove my claim. I’m receiving a lot of complements recently too on how good my “aura” looks. I look younger, skin tigher, plump, moist. Even without makeup on! (still struggling with acne, but that’s a different story soon.. ) Here’s a list of what I noticed while taking this too:

• Better sleep
• Improved recovery after my workouts
• Less joint pain (matanda na ko guys)
• Rosy complexion
• Glass skin from within!

Final Thoughts – I’m so lazy to measure things so I just dump a few sprinkles in my shaker bottle. More if I’m feeling generous and I take it everyday. I have no plans of switching brands unless I have to review another product (either curiosity or para sa ekonomiya, pero alam nyo yan na I only give HONEST, REAL, UNBIASED reviews). 

One of my favorites that I’ll always return to if needed.
