Okay. I think I’ve used Saborino Morning Facial Sheet Mask Minty Fresh long enough to write a decent review on this 60-second face mask. Hi, how are ya?
I got this on a curious whim upon browsing on my favourite sampling website, Sample Room. Sample Room is a place where you can get to try products for FREE using points you earn by reviewing the products you receive from them. I’m don’t have enough patience to collect points so it’s great that you can buy VIP points cheap so you can sample all you want. Well not exactly, because you’re limited to check-out 3 products at a time Hahaha.
Okay, back to the sheet mask. I got this because I’m feeling lazy and cheap here in Manila, and I left all my skincare products in Batangas. Like, I don’t want to purchase any full-sized skincare because I got loads back at home I don’t wanna waste.
REVIEW: Saborino Morning Facial Sheet Mask Minty Fresh
Okay, back to the sheet mask. Saborino Minty Fresh Sheet Mask got my attention because of its multipurpose selling point – it’s a face wash, exfoliant, and moisturizer in one. Exfoliant and Moisturizer I can understand, but how can it replace a facial wash?
You get 5 sheets as a sample in Sample Room for free, but it costs around 800 PHP for a full-sized with 32 sheets in BeautyMNL. Not bad if you calculate it and end up 25/sheet for a quality face mask from Japan, plus you save the planet because it comes in a resealable pouch. Yay!

Looks like it got good stuff like cucumber extract, grapefruit, citrus peel oil, honey, mint (be careful some are allergic to mint), witch hazel, lemon, collagen, malic acid (for exfoliating), etc.
Okay, I won’t repeat it LOL but looks like this mask packs a punch of skin-loving ingredients that can exfoliate and yes nourish our skin at the same time.
The mask is too small for my face, but for comparison, my face is actually smaller than most people’s. So if you have a big head this will look weird or you’ll end up with a tiny mask at the centre of your face.
It smells good and it feels good. Literally minty fresh. It felt so good I forgot I was supposed to leave it on for just 60 seconds and left it on for 5? Nothing bad happened though.
I doubt it can replace your facial wash just for leaving it on, so I used it as a facial wipe before throwing it in the trash.
I used this 2-3x a week for 2 weeks. Considering I only have 5 masks LOL and noticed it kept my face looking glowy, radiant, and fresh. Just like I used my toner, moisturizer, and serum. It didn’t irritate my skin or whatsoever. I wasn’t using any other product besides this, Mestiza soap, and Biore sunscreen, and my face is now clear of pimples.
It’s pretty good that I’m considering buying a full-sized Saborino sheet mask pack. The price may seem expensive at first glance, but if you do the math, it’s more affordable than most face mask sheets available in the market today.
There are a lot of Saborino sheet mask variants than just Minty Fresh, so I’m curious which one to try next, or should I just buy this one again?
