REVIEW: Avon Feelin Fresh Quelch 4-in-1 Whitening Anti-Persperant Deodorant Cream

Ah, Avon Feelin Fresh Quelch 4-in-1 Whitening Anti-Persperant Deodorant Cream. I remember using you back when I was in highschool. I struggled with dark underarms and shied away from wearing sleeveless tops. My mom was an Avon Lady and seeing my frustration, she gave a tube to me to try.

Thinking about those days, makes me want to go and buy another tube. This time fast forward to 20 years later. Yes, I am that old. I read a lot of reviews on-line that it still works like a charm. Here’s mine.

Water, Aluminum Chlorohydrate, Glyceryl Stearate, Thiodipropionic Acid, Angelica Root Extract, Chamomilia Recutita Flower Extract, Betula Alba Bark Extract.

The key-ingredients here are the last 3:

Angelica Root Extract: Carminative, antimicrobial, expectorant, tonic, antispasmodic, diaphoretic, diuretic. indications: Angelica is a warming, decongesting and aromatic bitter. … Angelica also helps stimulate blood and circulation, and is especially regarded as a women’s herb in this way.

Chamomile Extract: Chamomile tea helps fade spots, eliminate acne scars and fight breakouts, if used topically, due to its anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties.

Betula Alba Bark Extract – Known for its skin healing and purifying properties, yet it also functions as an astringent.

Avon Feelin Fresh Quelch Review

I’d like to remind you guys that you only need to use a pea-sized amount on each side of your underarm. Using too much will eventually cause clogging.

It smells fresh, powdery, and pleasant. Whatever variant you use, they smell similar to one another. They have different varieties from hair-minimizing to ones with glutathione, but IMHO they all work the same.

Dries clear and powdery to touch. It effectively controls body odor the whole day but sweat? Not too much. Mid-day on a humid country like the Philippines, I can feel the moisture transferring on my shirt. 

Speaking of transfers, sadly the cream can cause yellow stains on your clothes. So I don’t advice using this lightening deodorant if you’re planning to wear something white or light. But in terms of its underarm lightening effect, it can and it will make your pits 1-2 shades lighter with consistent use. Not the best, but quite good enough.

It didn’t give me any irritations or whatsoever during the time of using it.
