REVIEW: Shiseido Anessa Perfect UV Mild Milk

Looking for suncreen that’s perfect for sensitive skin? I gotchu! I’ve been using Shiseido Anessa Perfect UV Mild Milk with SPF 50 PA+++ (ang haba lol) for the past 2 months and I’m already in-love. I began using sunscreen when I turned 18 because I swore to slow down skin aging without surgeries hehe.

It’s been a while since I shared a sunscreen on my blog, I think three years ago for Nivea UV Face Zero sticky feeling because it didn’t sting my eyes and it wasn’t sticky – but it had a con. It felt heavy. The other mild japanese sunscreens I’ve tried like Biore UV Aqua are light on the face but it stings my eyes 🙁

I felt like goldilocks tasting out porridges and one was too hot and the other too cold. Until I discovered Anessa Perfect UV Mild Milk – it was just right 😉

Made especially for babies’and children with delicate skin, the sunscreen fluid has a silkier texture vs its previous formulation.

It also has a newly developed “Smooth Protect Technology” that disperses the zinc oxide and titanium dioxide evenly for smoother, lightweight feel that won’t leave any white cast.

In addition, Anessa’s signature Aqua Booster EX Technology reacts on water or perspiration, strengthening the sunscreen film even more!

Okay okay, I admit it. I was one of the few who shrugged Anessa sunscreens initially because the price range intimidated me at 2,000php++ for a 50 ml bottle. I mean, you can get a mid-tier sunscreen for a quarter of the cost.

But I received a sample, and one application got me sold. I immediately put 4 bottles in my cart, especially because they were on SALE for HOLIDAY at Buy1 get1 with free samples. Super sulit!

WHERE TO BUY: Anessa Official

The packaging is great, it comes in a secure no-spill twist bottle and disperses with a nozzle. You’d notice there’s a small ball inside that you’ll shake before using the product so it will apply the ingredients evenly.

Why? It felt so dang invisible on my skin upon applying it. You forget it’s on, but your skin feels so smooth and looks so radiant. I also wonder why this is tagged as a kids’ sunblock. Ladies, this makes your skin look better! As if you had enough sleep with its barel-there pinkish glowish tinge.

The product also claims to provide skincare benefits as well, besides blocking the sun effectively. It has aloe vera, marine fish collagen, hyaluronic acid, and persimmon extract that helps our skin stay moisturized and hydrated.

Anessa sunscreen milk is both a physical and chemical sunscreen (including Zinc Oxide, Titanium Dioxide, and Octocrylene, Octinoxate), to provide skin 100 per cent UV protection. It applies clear and leaves no white cast even on photographs wow.

I don’t notice if my skin darkens or whatsoever. I love that it works, it doesn’t sting my eyes, and it’s easily removed with soap, meaning NO CLOGGED PORES. I can sleep peacefully at night. And guess what? It’s also rub and fade resistant that’s why I’m confident in wearing this sunscreen at the gym, or everyday errands.

Will I buy again? Definitely, but I’ll wait for the sale to get the most out of my buck 😉
