Review: Mac Studiofix Powder Plus Foundation (NC25)
It has enough coverage to conceal redness, dark undereye circles, and blur out skin to give it a soft focused look.

Review: Teviant The Ultimate Skin Master Luminous Foundation (Eggshell)
In the past few years, yes years, I’ve stopped wearing foundation all throughout and just relied on spot concealing + setting powder to have that au naturele skin look. However, I noticed that during special occasions, my skin looked dull and flat in photos. I mean, sure taking collagen nightly helped my skin taut and young looking, but of course it doesn’t always show well in photographs. I’ve been following Sandy from @sandysplayground on Tiktok for a while now, because she’s one of the few honest beauty influencers who’s transparent, and mostly pays for her own products. This is what I do now also, now that I’ve taken a backseat…

A social experiment: Do people still read blogs?
This was the original purpose of blogs when it was first "invented". It came from two words: biography and log. It was a bio-log, blog.

TAIWAN: where to stay, what to do, where to go
Every year, I do my best to give one international travel experience to Nacho kid. Last year we went to Thailand, this year was Taiwan. We almost weren’t able to go, because just 7 days before our flight, Geof caught Dengue and was hospitalised for more than 5 days. We went to Taiwan last July. Fortunately, his doctor gave us a go signal that he could travel after his platelets stabilised. But the doctor said Geof wasn’t at 100% so he shouldn’t tire himself to much. As a mom, this made me torn. I don’t know what’s the best decision to do. Anyway what’s done is done because we came…

My figure skating era
It all started with a dream, figuratively and literally. Last July 2024, I had a vivid dream of me, figure skating. I was wearing white, with white boots, and I was spinning freely. It felt so real. When I woke up, I immediately felt it was a “calling” for me to just do it. I went ahead and searched for skating lessons online and lo behold, there was a Learn 2 Skate session in Megamall for August. It costs 4900 for eight 30-minute sessions. Not bad e? This is the first time that I got into something because I wanted to, not because to impress others, not for my friends,…

Our trip to Puerto Princesa Palawan (3D 4N)
This blog post is over two months due. Life has been so satisfyingly busy that I’ve been procrastinating writing our Puerto Princesa Travelogue. But here I am now, typing on my keyboard. Each year, nacho kid and I go to any island in the Philippines to beach hop or just experience nature. Our stop for this year? Puerto Princesa Palawan of course! We took our favourite budget airline, Cebu Pacific, and surprisingly, has been more constant to date. We havent experienced any delays (so far!) I chose Balai Princesa for our stay not just for their affordable rates, but because they are in the city centre, and has a hot…

My Child’s Experience at Power Mac Center Creativity Camp
It’s that time of the year – Summer – where kids have countless of steady days before going back to school. Sure, we can go to the beach, hang out in the farm, or just chill at home, play video games, but there will come a time where Geof would tell me: “Mom, I’m bored.” Of course I told him being bored is a part of life, it is essential to unlock creativity and imagination. However, as a mom, I know but too much idle time isnt too fun either. This is why every year, since I discovered Power Mac Center’s Creativity Camp, I enrolled him to a different class…
